Usage
To install Intel® Memory and Storage Tool, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:
choco install intel-mas
To upgrade Intel® Memory and Storage Tool, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:
choco upgrade intel-mas
To uninstall Intel® Memory and Storage Tool, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:
choco uninstall intel-mas
Description
The Intel® Memory and Storage Tool (Intel® MAS) is drive management software with a Graphical User Interface for Windows* that allows you to view current drive information, perform firmware updates, run full diagnostic scans, perform secure erase processes, and provide SMART attributes from Intel® SSDs.
Note:
- You can use this tool to update firmware for PCIe/NVMe- and SATA-based Client and Datacenter Intel® SSD drives.
- Non Intel® SSD’s are not supported
- The Windows download includes the GUI and CLI version of the tool.
