Usage

To install Signal (Desktop), run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

choco install signal

To upgrade Signal (Desktop), run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

choco upgrade signal

To uninstall Signal (Desktop), run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

choco uninstall signal

Description

Signal is an encrypted communications application. It uses the Internet to send one-to-one and group messages, which can include files, voice notes, images and videos, and make one-to-one voice and video calls.

Package parameters

  • /NoAutoUpdate - Block updates.signal.org via hosts file to prevent automatic update
  • /NoProxy - Do not set system proxy
  • /NoTray - Do not use tray icon
  • /NoShortcut - Do not create shortcut icon on the desktop
